Italian lakes & mountains

Our March wine dinner is inspired by the Italian Lakes and Alpine regions, with a seasonal tasting menu paired with expressive wines from Italy.

The menu moves through tuna carpaccio with winter tomatoes and EVOO, pan-fried red mullet with new-season peas and broad beans, and gnocchi with crab sauce and basil, followed by white asparagus with bottarga, butter and lemon. Dessert finishes on new-season Gariguette strawberries with rhubarb sorbet and mascarpone.

Wines have been carefully selected to match the food and the landscape, including a Blanc de Blancs from Trentino-Alto Adige, skin-contact Pinot Grigio from Friuli, Lugana from Lombardy, and a structured Rosso from Livio Felluga, before finishing with Recioto Classico from Veneto.

A relaxed, generous evening exploring food and wine shaped by lakes, mountains and cool climates.
